One day, my son and I were talking about my grandmother and how much we miss her. I mentioned that I feel like she visits us as a yellow butterfly.
The very next day, a yellow butterfly crossed my path. And then the next day, and the day after that.
The entire week following that conversation, we saw a yellow butterfly every single day. Even on a rainy day, I looked out the window just as a yellow butterfly flew by.
But, what really blew our minds was when we took a day trip to the beach later that week...
As we were standing in a tide pool, my son took a photo of my husband and me. Right as he snapped the picture, a yellow butterfly flew directly toward us and up above our heads!
It was surprising to see a butterfly at the ocean.
But what was even more astonishing was that it was captured directly in front of me in the photograph.
