The time has finally arrived for my first soup of the season. We’ve had a few dark, damp, chilly days recently, which calls for one thing. It’s something I look forward to as the seasons change: A nice big pot of homemade soup simmering away in the kitchen, warming the house and filling it with the yummy scents of cold-weather comfort food.
